Guest House

guesthouse1As visitors enter the grounds of Mother of the Redeemer Retreat Center, the Guest House looms large on their left. In 1996, while construction of the Chapel was still underway, Our Blessed Mother requested that steps be taken for the building of a guest house where my pilgrims can rest their weary heads.

IMG 2406With the help of many volunteers and generous donors, the Guest House was far enough along to accomodate overnight guests by November of 1999. The framing was done by an Amish crew from southern Indiana, with the rest of the work completed by those closest to the "Farm."

In addition to the Office and 30 guestrooms, the two-story building has a full basement equipped with a commercial laundry. Each of the air-conditioned guestrooms has 2 queen-size beds, night stand, table and chairs, Bible, Crucifix, framed religious art, dressing room, and private bath with shower.

Big Images DiningHall 103aThe dedication of the Guest House took place on October 7, 2000, during a Marian Day of Prayer.

Rooms are available for overnight visitors as well as for those attending the scheduled retreats.

Visitors always receive a warm welcome from the office staff at the Guest House.
